WHY we are closing 16 churches every day here in the USA

Europe is WHY we preach on Sundays! We're stuck in the failed Sunday lecture model of Europe. Let's go back to Jesus' conversational HEBREW sabbath tradition that the Father prepared in advance for Jesus' arrival. In it you would find rabbis, their talmidim and all of the people present discussing the text Conversationally. In Conversational Learning ANYONE could have a turn to add to the discussion of HOW to live a life pleasing to God.

What are you going to do with religion? Ezekiel 34:1-16

Ricky KroegerFriday, August 21, 2026

Religion is people telling you to follow THEM to follow God CORRECTLY. Religion that existed in Jesus' day, was primarily that of the Pharisees & Sadducees. These were the Democrats and Republicans of their day who used Religion to tell the people what they should be doing. Jesus came to say that following them to follow God is NOT what it is all about, and that, with hearts after the Father's, we should only follow God Himself! Followers of The Way. Jesus' Way! The Way, The Truth & The Life!

Scholars have identified: We are using Europe's failed model, not Jesus' Successful Conversational Model.

These are exciting times, over the last 20 to 30 years the internet has allowed thousands of Christian scholars to peer review each other's work on the characteristics of the 1st century church. What we've learned, and assimilated for you here at OneKingdomWorldwide.org, is that the church in the USA has been modeled after Europe's lecture model, not after the Conversational Learning style of Jesus every Sabbath.

We can change the world if we follow Jesus' way!

Within 3 years, Jesus' people were ready to be shipped off in twos, and they came back excited to say that they found they really were READY to be sent.... and successfully so by the power of the Holy Spirit. Memberships create the Ezekiel 34:1-16 church businesses that hold people IN. God is clearly against this! Jesus sent them out after three years of training. In an Ezekiel 34:1-16 way, we keep our sheep IN our SHEEP PENS for decades.

In Jesus' day, the sabbath synagogue wasn't a lecture hall. It was a house of conversation

Ricky KroegerWednesday, August 19, 2026

On the Sabbath, several rabbis from the community would gather together. Scripture would be read. The rabbis and talmidim would discuss it—sharing historical context, interpretations, related passages, their own perspectives. And here's what most people don't know: ANYONE could contribute to the discussion. This is why Jesus could walk into any synagogue in any town and speak on any sabbath.

EUROPE is why we preach on Sundays!

Ricky KroegerWednesday, August 19, 2026

Let's restore the HEBREW sabbath tradition that the Father prepared in advance for Jesus' arrival. In it you would find rabbis, their talmidim and all of the people present discussing the text Conversationally. In Conversational Learning ANYONE could have a turn to add to the discussion of HOW to live a life pleasing to God. This Hebrew Tradition disappeared when Jesus' followers arrived in Europe and were swallowed up by the lecture style Hellenistic western culture they found there.

Why are people still stuck after so very many years?

Ricky KroegerTuesday, August 18, 2026

The answer is our model. We left the Conversational Talmidic Sabbath Model Jesus used in Israel and went to Europe where their 500-year-old Greek teaching method swallowed us up. We became like them. Teach. Preach. The lecture model we've been given doesn't have "BECOMING" built in. It has information. It has activity. It has attendance. But BECOMING more and more like Jesus? ...that requires something completely different.

If Jesus stood in a Sunday service and requested to speak, 90% of our churches would say Sit Down!

Ricky KroegerTuesday, August 18, 2026

When we went to Europe, they replaced Jesus' conversational synagogue sabbath model where everyone could speak with the Hellenistic one where a single person speaks and everyone else sits and listens. We've lost something essential to the making of talmidim (disciples). We lost the ability for God to speak through the whole body. We lost the honest questions. We lost the collective wisdom. And we lost the environment that facilitatively develops talmidim.

Which service style do you use? The failed and failing one we inherited from Europe or the Hebrew Style of Jesus?

Ricky KroegerMonday, August 17, 2026

These are two completely different education systems with two completely different desired results. In the Greek system, the one we inherited from the churches of Europe, there was a Teacher at the front with Students sitting passively listening. The Goal? Download knowledge into them so as to produce informed people. In the Hebrew system, however, the one that Rabbi Jesus used, it was all about Conversational Learning! In it, all of the people present would wrestle with the text TOGETHER!
